Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads
Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:
After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.
The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.
“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”
Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.
SET 1 — 🔍 CAT Level
Each of the seven friends – P, Q, R, W, X, Y and Z – lives on a different floor of a seven storeyed apartment not necessarily in that order (The ground floor is numbered one, the floor just above the ground floor is numbered two and so on till the top floor is numbered seven). The following information is known about them.
P lives just above Z’s floor, which is above R’s floor. R lives on an even numbered floor but not on the second floor. There is only one floor between X’s floor and Y’s floor. X does not live below R’s floor. Q does not live below W’s floor.
Question 1
How many persons live below Y’s floor?
a) One
b) Two
c) Three
d) Four
Question 2
Who lives between Y’s floor and W’s floor?
a) X
b) Q
c) R
d) Z
Question 3
Who lives on the fourth floor?
a) P
b) Q
c) R
d) X
Question 4
On which floor does X live?
a) First
b) Second
c) Fourth
d) Fifth

✅ Answers & Explanations
The final floor arrangement is:
Floor | Person |
|---|---|
7 | P |
6 | Z |
5 | X |
4 | R |
3 | Y |
2 | Q |
1 | W |
Step-by-step solution
Step 1: Fix R's floor
R lives on an even-numbered floor, but not the second floor.
So initially:
R = 4th or 6th floor
We also know:
P lives immediately above Z, and Z lives above R.
Therefore, at least two positions are required above R for Z and P.
If R were on the 6th floor, this would be impossible.
Hence:
R = 4th floor.
Step 2: Find P and Z
Since Z is above R and P lives immediately above Z, we have two possibilities:
Z = 5, P = 6
Z = 6, P = 7
Now consider X:
X does not live below R.
Since R is on floor 4, X must be above floor 4.
If Z = 5 and P = 6, then X must occupy floor 7.
But there is exactly one floor between X and Y. If X = 7, Y must be on floor 5.
Floor 5 is already occupied by Z.
So this is impossible.
Therefore:
Z = 6 and P = 7.
Step 3: Find X and Y
We now have:
Floor | Person |
|---|---|
7 | P |
6 | Z |
5 | ? |
4 | R |
3 | ? |
2 | ? |
1 | ? |
X cannot live below R.
The only unoccupied floor above R is floor 5.
Therefore:
X = 5.
There is exactly one floor between X and Y.
Since X is on 5:
Y = 3.
Step 4: Find Q and W
The remaining floors are 1 and 2, occupied by Q and W.
We know:
Q does not live below W.
Therefore Q must be above W.
Hence:
Q = 2
W = 1
So the final order from top to bottom is:
P – Z – X – R – Y – Q – W
Question 1: How many persons live below Y's floor?
Y lives on the 3rd floor.
Below Y are:
Q → 2nd floor
W → 1st floor
Therefore, 2 persons live below Y.
Answer: B) Two
Question 2: Who lives between Y's floor and W's floor?
We have:
Y = 3rd floor
Q = 2nd floor
W = 1st floor
Therefore Q lives between Y and W.
Answer: B) Q
Question 3: Who lives on the fourth floor?
From the arrangement:
R = 4th floor.
Answer: C) R
Question 4: On which floor does X live?
We established:
X = 5th floor.
Answer: D) Fifth
Final Answers
1. B — Two
2. B — Q
3. C — R
4. D — Fifth
So the answer sequence is BBCD.
