Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads
Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:
After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.
The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.
“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”
Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.

✅ Answers & Explanations
We have 5 persons and 7 different vehicles:
Persons: Lokesh, Subash, Mahesh, Rupesh, Ramesh
Vehicles: Car, Bike, Scooty, Jeep, Van, Bus, Auto
No vehicle can be driven by more than one person.
Step 1: Determine how many vehicles each person drives
We are directly told:
Mahesh → only 1 vehicle
Lokesh → only 1 vehicle
Subash → only 1 vehicle
Thus, these three account for 3 vehicles.
There are 7 vehicles in total, so the remaining:
7 − 3 = 4 vehicles
must be divided between Rupesh and Ramesh.
Since nobody can drive more than 2 vehicles:
Rupesh → 2 vehicles
Ramesh → 2 vehicles
So:
Person | Number of vehicles |
|---|---|
Lokesh | 1 |
Subash | 1 |
Mahesh | 1 |
Rupesh | 2 |
Ramesh | 2 |
Step 2: Analyse Rupesh
Rupesh does not drive:
Bus
Jeep
Auto
Scooty
Therefore, Rupesh can drive only:
Car, Bike, Van
But Rupesh must drive exactly 2 vehicles.
The clue says:
The person who drives a Car does not drive a Bike.
Therefore, the same person cannot have both Car and Bike.
So Rupesh cannot have:
❌ Car + Bike
Hence Rupesh's two vehicles must be either:
Car + Van
or
Bike + Van
Therefore:
Rupesh definitely drives the Van.
Step 3: Analyse Ramesh
Ramesh does not drive:
Car
Bike
Auto
Scooty
So Ramesh can drive only:
Jeep, Van, Bus
Ramesh needs exactly 2 vehicles.
But Van is already driven by Rupesh.
Since no two persons can drive the same vehicle:
Ramesh = Jeep + Bus
This is completely fixed.
Person | Vehicle(s) |
|---|---|
Ramesh | Jeep + Bus |
Rupesh | Van + Car/Bike |
Step 4: Determine Lokesh's vehicle
Lokesh drives either:
Jeep or Scooty
and drives only one vehicle.
But Jeep is already driven by Ramesh.
Therefore:
Lokesh = Scooty
Step 5: Determine Mahesh and Subash
So far:
Lokesh → Scooty
Ramesh → Jeep + Bus
Rupesh → Van + Car/Bike
The remaining vehicles are:
Car, Bike and Auto
Mahesh drives only one vehicle and cannot drive:
Jeep
Auto
So among the remaining vehicles, Mahesh must drive:
Car or Bike
Therefore, Subash must drive:
Auto
Final Arrangement
There are two possible cases.
Case 1
Person | Vehicle(s) |
|---|---|
Lokesh | Scooty |
Subash | Auto |
Mahesh | Car |
Rupesh | Bike + Van |
Ramesh | Jeep + Bus |
Case 2
Person | Vehicle(s) |
|---|---|
Lokesh | Scooty |
Subash | Auto |
Mahesh | Bike |
Rupesh | Car + Van |
Ramesh | Jeep + Bus |
Thus, only Car and Bike interchange between Mahesh and Rupesh.
