Teaching is more than imparting knowledge, it is inspiring change. Learning is more than absorbing facts, it is acquiring understanding. - William Arthur Ward has expressed ‘to a T’ the true meaning of teaching; it is to continuously polish one’s expertness to reach the zenith of perfection. The creation of an excelling tomorrow lies upon the teacher. So the sole job of a teacher is to mould the minds of the future generation. If you want to excel in the task of being a good teacher then there is a list of facts you must get used to. Now there is a sincere effort for upgrading teaching techniques, which can be more effective with the appropriate involvement of students and teachers. Nowadays, many schools have turned to child-centric learning for indulging the children. This kind of upgraded technique not only includes the active participation of the children but it also attracts their interest. A good teacher plays the important role of an educator, a guide, an inspiration, and a friend while gently helping the 'slow learners' climb the steep learning tree and also engaging with the 'bright minds' delve deeper into knowledge and concepts and thereby meet their need to be ahead of others.

In a classroom there are students with different learning abilities and the teacher faces a formidable challenge. But the teachers tap the little minds of young children and plant the seeds of curiosity and knowledge in them. This inculcates the values of self-learning, exploration, and philosophical inquiry. Each child must be allowed to work through his/ her individual will and truly understand the new facts according to his/ her own unique way and capabilities. A teacher helps her students learn some of these things about each other, especially the strengths and hopes. Always keep in mind that there is nothing in the environment that the child cannot see or touch or play with. All the equipment should be scaled down to the child's reach. An ideal classroom should have a frank, productive atmosphere where joy and education meet together. A good teacher learns all she can about their academic strengths and needs, but even more about their interests, fears, hopes, and worries. You must learn how to create such an enriched environment full of freedom and activities where intellectual development can spontaneously flourish. A good teacher knows his/ her students on many levels. She helps her students learn these things about themselves. A teacher is someone who has an affinity with the students she is teaching. But to be a successful teacher who can identify with the aspirations and difficulties of his/ her students, you need to get a teachers’ training course, which would help you achieve your professional grail.

✅ Answers & Explanations

Question 1,2,3

We have 7 days:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

And 7 laptops:

Sony, Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, HCL

Given conditions:

Dell is on Saturday.
So:
Saturday = Dell

HP is given after Dell.
Since Dell is already on Saturday, the only day after Saturday is Sunday.
So:
Sunday = HP

HP is given three days after Asus.
If HP is on Sunday, then Asus must be three days before Sunday.
Counting back: Saturday, Friday, Thursday.
So:
Thursday = Asus

Lenovo is given just after Asus.
Asus is on Thursday, so Lenovo must be on Friday.
So:
Friday = Lenovo

Now remaining laptops are Sony, Acer, HCL and remaining days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

Acer is distributed just after Sony.
So Sony and Acer must be consecutive.

HCL is before Acer.
The only possible arrangement is:

Monday = HCL
Tuesday = Sony
Wednesday = Acer

So the final arrangement is:

Monday – HCL
Tuesday – Sony
Wednesday – Acer
Thursday – Asus
Friday – Lenovo
Saturday – Dell
Sunday – HP

Therefore:

  1. Lenovo is on Friday, so related day is next day: Saturday
    ✅ C) Saturday

  2. Lenovo laptops are distributed on Friday
    ✅ C) Friday

  3. Between Lenovo on Friday and HP on Sunday comes Saturday, which is Dell
    ✅ B) Dell

Question 4

The passage explains the role of teachers, modern teaching methods, child-centric learning, and classroom environments in an informative and explanatory manner. The author is not joking (humorous), blaming anyone (accusatory), mocking (sarcastic), or mainly criticizing. Instead, the passage primarily describes what good teaching involves and how teachers should guide students. Hence, the tone is best described as descriptive.

Correct Option : C

Question 5

The passage clearly states:

“So the sole job of a teacher is to mould the minds of the future generation.”

This line directly answers the question. The other options are supporting roles of teachers mentioned later in the passage, such as helping slow learners or encouraging bright students, but the author explicitly identifies moulding future generations as the primary responsibility.

Correct Option : A

Question 6

The word “upgrade” means to improve, enhance, raise, or move something to a better level. Options A (raise), B (boost), D (enhance), and E (move up) are all similar in meaning to upgrade. The only option that expresses the opposite idea — reducing or lowering quality or value — is “diminish.” Therefore, C is the antonym.

Correct Option : C

Question 7

In the passage, “mould” means to shape or influence the minds of students. Both “chisel” and “sculpt” carry the idea of shaping or forming something carefully. Therefore, both options A and B are similar in meaning to “mould.” Since more than one option is correct, the best answer is E.

Correct Option : E

Question 8

B) astute → smart decision

Question 9

B) weather the storm → survive hardship

Question 10

A comes first because it introduces the topic: AI changing workplaces.

C comes next because it explains what companies are doing because of AI: investing in automation.

B follows because “As a result” shows the effect: employees need new skills.

D comes last because “This shift” refers to the overall change discussed earlier.

So the correct order is:

A → C → B → D
